I was inspired last night by ~missy-tannenbaum’s rendition of a standee Maurice Moss from the IT Crowd, so I decided to make one. But then I couldn’t stop stitching, and it turned into a bookmark. Don’t you love it when that happens?
This pattern was cut from a previous pattern of mine, Roy and Moss from the IT Crowd if you want to go stitch your own. Below are a couple of action shots taken in my brand new home made photo light box. I am still getting the hang of taking pictures in it, but they turned out not too bad if I do say so myself. You can download the PDF pattern below.
Some people suggested I put it up for sale so I did. You can find it over at my Etsy shop at Maurice Moss Bookmark.
The background stitching is a scottish stitch. A very helpful tutorial can be found at http://inaminuteago.com/stitchdict/stitch/scottish.html
Till next time, Happy Stitching everyone!
